Inspired by the timeless charm of a well-loved book, every Rooted Tales planter is individually handcrafted from stoneware clay in my Buckinghamshire studio. No moulds. No mass production. Just clay, patience, and the belief that the objects we surround ourselves with should tell stories.

Unlike a book whose story has already been written, this one is waiting for its next chapter.

Perhaps it will cradle your favourite succulent, hold a cutting passed down through family, become home to a tiny cactus, or simply keep your favourite pens and paintbrushes close at hand. However you choose to use it, every new leaf, bloom and season becomes part of its story—and yours.

As every piece is handmade, subtle variations in texture, glaze and finish are celebrated as part of its individuality.

Plant Care

This planter has no drainage hole, making it ideal as a decorative cachepot. Simply place your nursery pot inside or add a shallow layer of gravel before planting directly.

Although the interior is glazed, this piece is designed primarily as a planter or decorative organiser rather than a vase intended for standing water.

Packaging

Your planter will be carefully wrapped using recycled and recyclable packaging materials wherever possible to help ensure it arrives safely.

Shipping

• Orders are usually dispatched within 1–7 working days.

• All orders are sent using tracked postage.

• Delivery times are estimated by the postal service and are outside of my control once your parcel has been dispatched.

• I do my best to price international postage fairly and to account for changing shipping costs and tariffs where possible. However, customs duties, import taxes, tariffs or handling fees charged by the destination country remain the responsibility of the buyer.

Returns are accepted if the item is returned in its original condition.
